I think there are something like 80 bridges across the Piave river from its source in the mountains down to where it flows into the Venice Lagoon. I photographed all of them, partly because I like a challenge, partly as an excuse to explore the landscape around them, and partly because I found them interesting in their own right: how their size and structures change along the way and their relationship with the landscape around them.
