coordinates

is a series of fictional landscapes exploring geo-political themes through satellite imagery.

Each panel is made from up to 3000 small pieces of image, cut and pasted to create a digital mosaic following a particular theme.

I'm interested in looking at the mechanisms that sustain the global economy, whether concerning the production of food and energy, transportation and infrastructure as well as the environmental footprints of human activity.

Click on the 'Info' icon for a description of each panel.

The series was exhibited at the Luisa Catucci Gallery, Berlin, in 2017.
