Save Venice

ENG: This was a commission for the American organisation, Save Venice, which has been undertaking important restoration work on cultural sites and artworks around the city since the 1960s. I spent a few days with them to document some of their work in progress and completed projects including at the Doge’s Palace, the Accademia art gallery, the Scuola Grande and the Basilica Dei Frari.

ITA: Questo era un lavoro per l’organizzazione americana Save Venice, che dagli anni ‘60 ha realizzato importanti lavori di restauro su siti culturali e opere d’arte a Venezia. Ho trascorso alcuni giorni con loro per documentare qualche lavoro in corso e dei progetti completati tra cui Palazzo Ducale, la Galleria dell’Accademia, la Scuola Grande, San Francesco e la Basilica dei Frari.
